Man in serious condition after pickup rolls

A Cusick man was listed in serious condition today at Sacred Heart Medical Center following an accident 18 miles north of Newport on state Highway 20 on Sunday evening. Mickie D. Fishgrab, 50, was initially taken to Newport Community Hospital before being transported to Sacred Heart, according to a hospital spokeswoman. State Patrol troopers said Fishgrab was traveling northbound toward Cusick by himself in a 1984 Mitsubishi pickup when he went off the roadway to the left just after 6 p.m. The vehicle overturned. Fishgrab was wearing a seat belt. Troopers said that Fishgrab was charged with driving under the influence.
