Driver arrested for DUI in Highway 95 crash

A Coeur d’Alene dwdriver was arrested for driving under the influence following a Saturday night collision involving four vehicles.

Todd C. Jasmin, 43, of Coeur d’Alene, was headed north on U.S. Highway 95 in the southbound lane when the accident occurred about 8 p.m. in the Fighting Creek area near Worley, according to Idaho State Police.

Jason N. Dronen, 20, of Vancouver, Wash., was headed south and passing two other vehicles when his 1993 Pontiac collided head-on with Jasmin’s 2001 Nissan pickup.

Dronen’s vehicle then struck a 2004 GMC driven by Ginger R. Cutler, 48, of Coeur d’Alene. Debris from the accident struck a 1999 Mazda driven by Matthew S. Cronwall, 19, of Bothell, Wash.

Dronen was treated and released from Kootenai Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.
