Police investigating series of smash-and-grabs

Spokane police are investigating four smash-and-grab service station burglaries that began before dawn on Friday.

Police are looking for two suspects who were seen wearing black masks and driving a white SUV.

The suspects smashed windows at the Tesoro Gas station, 17th and Ray at 4 a.m. and stole cigarettes and change. Later, the Exxon station at Northwest Boulevard and Alberta, a76 station at Second and Cedar and another service station at Hawthorne and Division were burglarized in the same fashion.
