Neither faith nor values
In the Dec. 5 “Faith and Values” column, Don Clegg’s analysis of God exhibits a vast inability to expand his mind beyond the perimeter of his over-inflated ego.
His assumptions of what God does or does not do exemplifies the inherent connection within all of humanity to a supreme being; otherwise how could God do or not do anything if He does not exist?
Humans have been given “free will” to facilitate personal growth no matter what form. Clegg’s illogical assessments only give cause to magnify the extent of his lack of spiritual knowledge, along with his warped surmising of an everlasting life being “the worst hell he could imagine.”
That might just be what he has imprisoned himself with, the worst hell he could imagine. His egocentric ramblings reveal a personal philosophy devoid of faith or values and cause me to question whether S-R editor Gary Graham ever reads Clegg’s self-centered drivel.
Steve Massey’s brilliant contributions to the column are absolute clarification of spiritual wisdom and give credit to the column and The S-R.
