Drumming workshops offered

WEST HILLS – Holy Names Music Center, 3910 West Custer Drive, will host two World Drumming workshops on Jan. 9 and Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The three-hour workshops are open to all levels of musicians and will teach proper drumming technique, tradition-specific rhythms and pieces. No prior musical training is necessary.

Cost of the event is $10 per person.
