Tyler Drechsel, fire inspector for Northern Lakes, said that the house was about three-fourths on fire when crews arrived. They were able to save a vehicle and some belongings from a garage.
Water pressure was low during the firefight, but crews contacted the local water district to increase pressure on the hydrant system in the neighborhood, Drechsel said. The issue of water pressure will be examined, and corrective measures are expected, he said.
The names of the occupants were not released. No injuries were reported.
