NIC hosting film, discussion on wolves

“An Evening with Wolves” features a presentation of an award-winning film titled “Wolves,” narrated by Robbie Robertson, and a panel discussion by local residents.

The free event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at North Idaho College in Molstead Library in Todd Hall. It’s sponsored by Kootenai Environmental Alliance and the Northern Rockies Wolf Group.

The panel members are Nancy Taylor, owner of Wolf People; Jerry Boggs, executive director of the Selkirk Conservation Alliance; Dave Spicer, wildlife biologist for the Idaho Department of Fish & Game; and Ken Fischman, a geneticist.

A wolf that has been habituated to people will also make an appearance.
