Hawk, Moon, Partridge sign with GU baseball

Three area players are among the seven who have signed letters of intent to play baseball at Gonzaga University, coach Mark Machtolf announced on Wednesday.

Baseball Northwest called Hawk the No. 1 prep prospect in the Idaho, Montana and Wyoming region.

Moon had an 8-0 record and hit .500 for the Titans during his junior season.

Partridge, with a fastball in the low 90s, is ranked the No. 1 left-hander in Washington by Baseball Northwest.

Also signing with the Zags were Chris Asing, right-hander, Flower Mound, Texas; Liam Baron, left-hander, Perth, Australia; Clayton Eslick, infielder, Gilroy, Calif.; and Brock Slavin, catcher/first baseman, Tumwater, Wash.
