House Education Chairman Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d’Alene, proposes permanent changes in Idaho state laws to allow cuts to public education. The House Education Committee voted 11-5 to introduce Nonini’s two bills, and plans three days of joint hearings with the Senate Education Committee on them starting on Monday.
