U-Hi claims Sneaker; CV wins games

Central Valley won the games, but University captured the shoe in Tuesday’s annual Stinky Sneaker spirit contest and high school boys and girls basketball doubleheader at the Arena.

University’s theme was “Shoejan War” highlighted by a huge shoe that carried 10 people in an attack to get the shoe. Central Valley’s team was “Shoetar Hero” featuring groups jamming to different songs.

Attendance was estimated at 5,000.
