Ballpark would upset calm

The Spokesman-Review

In the South Side Voice, Bret Bonham of the Spokane Little League accused the Glenrose Association of being a “bully.” If that is the case, we are one of them.

We are a “bully” because this type of complex located in a rural setting (which lies in a bowl) would damage the quality of life for everyone living in this area. The traffic, noise and lights going six days a week would create havoc to all the wildlife that abounds here.

As for being a “community park,” that is not the case; you must join the Little League to use this locked facility which will be 20 acres (more or less) with options to expand.

Both Brian Gosline and Bret Bonham do not live in this community and thus will not have to listen to the noise or contend with the traffic this complex will create. It surely will not enhance our area as Mr. Bonham stated.
