At a glance: Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 11-15 overall, 5-9 Big Sky

COMING UP: Saturday vs. Northern Colorado, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Two road losses last week put a huge crimp in the Eagles’ postseason hopes. With two games left in the league season, they stand in seventh place and will need some help to break into the six-team league tournament. Eastern has two league games left – Northern Colorado on Saturday and Portland State on Feb. 28. Both games are at Reese Court in Cheney. Because Idaho State and Montana State have tiebreaker advantages over the Eagles, the most likely team to catch is Northern Colorado – tied for fourth with MSU and ISU at 6-6. Those teams have four games left. UNC beat the Eagles 75-68 earlier this season.
