Sunny skies in future

Dense fog blanketed the Inland Northwest this morning, making travel a little slower and slicker. The sunshine should gradually break through the haze today as the temperature rises near 40, according to the National Weather Service. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid-20s.

Sunshine is again expected Friday into Saturday with daytime temperatures in the 40s, according to the weather service.

A chance of precipitation returns Sunday and is expected to continue through at least Wednesday.
