COMING UP: Saturday vs. Cal State Northridge, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Coming off Wednesday’s win at Boise State, the Vandals take a detour from the WAC to face Cal State Northridge in a BracketBusters matchup. The Matadors (12-11, 8-3 Big West) had a six-game winning streak snapped Wednesday against UC Irvine. Northridge is playing well despite off-the-court distractions. Guard Josh Jenkins, the Big West’s assist leader, is out indefinitely after being hospitalized following a single-car accident Saturday in which the driver was killed. The Matadors are also without leading scorer Deon Tresvant after he was arrested last month and charged with commercial burglary and theft.
