Man arrested in stabbing

By The Spokesman-Review

Spokane police have arrested 45-year-old Terry Cleaver on a first-degree assault charge. He was wanted in connection with the stabbing of a man in the neck and chest on Tuesday night.

The victim, who has not been identified, is in stable condition at Deaconess Medical Center, police said.

The stabbing occurred at a Northeast Spokane home where the two men got into an argument about a car, police said. The victim drove himself to Holy Family Hospital after he was stabbed. He was then taken Deaconess.

Police think others may also be involved in the incident and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Check at (509) 463-2233.
