The Spokesman-Review

Green Light Go won the local band competition “2009 RAWK Final Four” on Saturday, when Spokane Mayor Mary Verner also took the stage with a rap about the city and working together.

Competing in the final round were Death by Adam, Raw Nerve, Olaf Olaf Olaf and Bodhi Drip, in addition to Green Light Go.

Twenty younger Spokane and Coeur d’Alene bands competed during the four weeks leading up to the finals.

As the winner Green Light Go will receive a weekend at a Seattle recording studio, a free photo shoot and a Thin Air Radio appearance, along with a cash prize.
