GU women place 12th

The Gonzaga Bulldogs women finished 12th at the Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic on Tuesday in Fresno, Calif.

Freshman Jessica Howe paced GU with a 13th-place finish at 9-over-par 225.

UC Irvine edged San Francisco by a stroke for the team title.

Football

The Spokane Shock of arenafootball2 announced that quarterback Casey Hansen has been added to the roster.

Hansen played at Norfolk State the past two seasons.

Baseball

The Washington State home opener against Gonzaga University was postponed because of the weather. No makeup date was announced.

WSU hosts Oklahoma in a four-game series starting Friday.
