Senior meals

For the week of March 2-6

Monday – Option 1: Almond chicken, jasmine rice, vegetable stir fry, Mandarin oranges, dinner roll. Option 2: Barbecue beef on a bun, peas, vegetables, fruited Jell-O.

Tuesday – 1. Pork roast with gravy, sweet potatoes, bean medley, applesauce, dinner roll. 2. Meat taco with cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa, on a tortilla.

Wednesday – 1. Riblets, scalloped potatoes, spinach, grapes, breadstick, brownie. 2. Bean soup, ham sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Thursday – 1. Turkey divan, buttered noodles, vegetables, green salad with dressing, breadstick, apple-cranberry cobbler. 2. Cobb salad, apple-cranberry cobbler.

Friday – 1. Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, vegetables, wheat bread, fruited jello. 2. Fishwich, with lettuce, tomato and tartar.

Opportunity Presbyterian Church, (924-9750), 202 N. Pines Road, Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.

Valley Senior Center, (926-1937), 2426 N. Discovery Place, Monday-Friday, noon

Edgecliff Community Center, 6903 E. Fourth Ave., Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
