St. Patrick School offers fish dinner Fridays

The Knights of Columbus will host a fish dinner every Friday during Lent starting this week in the cafeteria of St. Patrick Catholic School, 2706 E. Queen Ave.

The Stations of the Cross, presented by students, will begin the evening at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6 to 8 p.m.

The cost to attend is $7.50 per person or $20 per family. The proceeds will benefit tuition for students of families in need of financial assistance in the Hillyard neighborhood.

School events

St. Patrick Catholic School, 2706 E. Queen, will present an open house Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

A prayer and a general overview of the school will kick off the evening and teachers will be available in their classrooms to answer any questions.

Tuition assistance is also available. For information, call the school office at 487-2830.

All Saints Catholic School will hold information nights at both of its campuses this week.

Parents with preschoolers who will be 3 before Aug. 31, are invited to the preschool, 1505 E. 34th Ave., Monday at 7 p.m. The school has classes for 3-year-olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4- and 5-year-olds on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and there is a new Barely 5 class held Mondays through Fridays.

Parents of students in kindergarten through the eighth grade can visit information night on March 5 at 7 p.m. in the building located at 3510 E. 18th Ave.
