UI students injured in Hwy 95 crash
A crash on U.S. Highway 95 at Athol sent four people to the hospital early Saturday morning after one driver apparently drove on the wrong side of the road.
Andrew M. Becker, 21, of Moscow was heading north on Highway 95 and trying to turn west on State Highway 54 when his left rear side was struck by a car heading north in the southbound lanes at about 1:40 a.m., according to the Idaho State Patrol. The second car was driven 25-year-old David L. Wilder of Powell, Wyo.
Both drivers were taken to Kootenai Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, along with Becker’s passengers Thomas A. Leija, 20, of Hagerman, Idaho, and Torrey K. Ikeda, 20, of Lihue, Hawaii. According to the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, Leija, Ikeda and Becker are students at the University of Idaho.
As of Saturday evening all but Leija, who was reported in good condition, had been treated and released from the hospital.
Wilder will be charged with aggravated driving under the influence, according to the ISP.

My question is what were the students doing at 130am in Athol? And were they intoxicated?

They were not intoxicated. They were on their way to Stone Ridge Lodge to go snowboarding at Mt. Spokane later that morning. They had to leave Moscow so late because they are resident assistants at UI and had a program running late that night so they did not leave Moscow until 11:30 p.m.
I hope this answers your question.

And why is that your question? They got hit by a DRUNK DRIVER! Why are you asking what the hell he was doing behind the wheel?!?!?
