New year, same weather

The Spokesman-Review
Snow today, arctic cold tomorrow… This new year looks a whole lot like the last one. Heavy snow today added about 3 inches to what was already on the ground at Spokane International Airport. And more snow could hit the region toward the end of the weekend, the National Weather Service reports. But between then and now is more miserable weather. Expect to see winds gusts up to 45 mph Friday morning, followed by a calm, clear night with low temperatures in single digits, and maybe even below zero. Saturday’s high could reach into the 20s, with overnight lows in the low teens.
