Part of route 23 closed in Spokane County

Poor visibility has led the Washington State Patrol to close portions of state Route 23 from Sprague to St. John. Previously, the section from St. John to Steptoe had also been closed. WSP reopened that section at 5:30 p.m. There is no estimate on when the rest of the highway will reopen.
