Gonzaga not worthy

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and this season’s Gonzaga men’s basketball team is just another team not worthy of a top-10 ranking.

Jeremy Pargo is not MVP of anything and is just a turnover waiting to happen. For someone who is supposed to be on the NBA watch list, this guy can’t lead when it’s clutch time, can’t shoot, and certainly can’t defend the 3-point shot.

Josh Heytvelt is another player who should take over games, but doesn’t want to get dirty by dominating the inside like J.P. Batista.

Austin Daye is just a spoiled baby who can’t take constructive criticism from his coach.

Oh, well, conference play is coming up and then Zags fans can be happy again when they take over the WCC.

Also, please don’t mention Mark Few’s name in the same breath as some of his great fellow coaches when it comes to winning percentage. If they coached in the WCC, they’d win every game.
