Palin baby is a family matter

The Spokesman-Review

Regarding Dary Liepelt’s letter, “First came marriage,” Jan. 3, just because we grew up in a time where people were forced to get married because of accidental pregnancies does not mean that is the case anymore. At least the Palin girl’s boyfriend is making a commitment to do the right thing. And if it wasn’t because of Sarah Palin’s political position you wouldn’t even be writing about this.

Also in Jan. 3rd’s paper is the article that Woody Harrelson finally married his girlfriend of 20 years with who he has three kids. Does that make him a bad person because he just stayed with her for 20 years and supported and took care of her and three kids without the benefit of marriage?

As a former 20-year Alaskan, I agree with the Alaska governor when she said it was a family matter and no one else’s business.
