Braves beat Thunder Cats

Connor Olstad scored twice and recorded an assist as the Spokane Braves beat the Creston Valley Thunder Cats 6-1 in a KIJHL game Sunday at Eagles Ice-A-Rena.

Zak Kroll, Joel Stewart, Dylan Tappe and Nick Redding each added a goal for Spokane, which peppered Thunder Cats netminder Wade Waters with 46 shots. Tanner Slarks, Jacob Walsh and Stewart each had two assists.

Cash Ulrich made 18 saves for the Braves.
