Artist Trust’s GAP Project – The state-funded program provides support for individual artists by awarding up to $1,500 for projects, including, but not limited to development, completion or presentation of new work. Applicants must be residents of Washington state and cannot be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Feb. 20. Art on the Green Poster Contest – Artists invited to enter 2009 contest for annual Art on the Green festival in Coeur d’Alene. Winning poster design will be awarded $600, and used on T-shirts, pins, programs and festival literature. Art should be original work in finished form, but not framed. Include or allow space for the following information: 41st Annual Art on the Green, July 31, August 1 & 2, 2009, On the Grounds of North Idaho College, The Citizens’ Council for the Arts, and the CCA logo.
