Children’s theater holding auditions

The Spokane Children’s Theatre will hold auditions for its production of “Bridge to Terabithia” on Saturday at 3 p.m. and on Monday at 7 p.m. The auditions will be held at Spokane Community College in the Lair Auditorium, 1810 N. Greene St.

Ages for all roles include 7 to adult. Most roles are non-singing, but four lead roles require strong singers. Director Reed McColm is also seeking a dog of “less than pure lineage”.

Performances will be March 7 through March 22.

Homebuying classes continue

Community Frameworks, 315 W. Mission Ave., will continue the series of classes designed to help potential homebuyers understand credit, personal finances and mortgage lending on Wednesday, with Mortgage Basics beginning at 6 p.m.

Upcoming courses include Understanding Credit on Feb. 18, Managing Your Finances on March 18, and a repeat of Mortgage Basics on April 15.

The hour-long sessions are free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
