Making a real difference

The Spokesman-Review

I am fascinated by the contrast between the Saturday’s various “faith groups” praying for world peace and Sunday’s article on the Schotts’ “Second Take” ministry.

Never in the history of the world has there ever been “world peace.” At any point in the history timeline there has been political wars, racial wars, religious wars, etc. I have noticed over the years that these so-called “faith groups” speak, write and “pray” a lot, but nothing ever changes. However, we have a local Christian ministry in “Second Take” that is dramatically changing lives one by one. Can it be that this is what Jesus referred to when he said, “Ye shall know them by their fruits”? By golly, I think I’ve broken the code!
