Residents complete basic training

Six local residents recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Christopher Clayton is the son of Alan and Kathleen Clayton of Davenport and graduated in 1997 from Highland High School in Cowiche, Wash.

Air Force Airman Geremy Blakeslee is the son of Glenn Blakeslee of Newport and graduated in 2008 from Newport High School.

Air Force Airman Rusty Davis is the daughter of Russ Bjornstad of Rockford and a 2007 graduate of Medical Lake High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Madison Harter is a 2005 graduate of Sanford High School and is the daughter of Keith Harter, Moses Lake and Debra Harter, Sanford, Maine.

Air Force Airman Johann Holter-Mehren is the son of Peter and Paula Holter-Mehren of Kettle Falls and a 2005 graduate of Colville High School.

Air Force Airman Marc Messier graduated from Ferris High School in 2007 and is the son of Pamela Messier and Mark Messier, both of Spokane.

•Three residents graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Army National Guard Pvt. Andrew Reichlin is the son of John Darcy of Elk and Tammy Armstrong of Electric City, Wash.

Army Pvt. Kyle Trigg is the son of Lisa and stepson of Dennis Vorhies of Spokane.

Army National Guard Pvt. Anthony Craig is a student at Valley Christian High School in Spokane Valley and the son of Tracie Craig of Valleyford.

Army Pvt. Ryan Kramer is the son of Karen Kramer of Nine Mile Falls. Army Spec. Brandon Hartmann graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., recently.

He is a 2000 graduate from Moses Lake High School and is the son of Tor Hartmann of Moses Lake.

•Two local residents graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Army Pvt. Michael Carbajal graduated from Deer Park High School in 2008 and his foster mother, Nancy Bryant is a resident of Deer Park.

Army Reserve Pvt. Julie Corcoran is the daughter of Robert Corcoran of Spokane and graduated from Mead High School in 2003.
