Ripe ‘Tomatoes’

The sci-fi romance “WALL-E” and documentary “Man on Wire” took top honors in the 10th annual Golden Tomato Awards, which honor the best-reviewed films of the year as determined by RottenTomatoes.com.

“WALL-E” won the wide-release award with a “Tomatometer” score of 96 percent. “Man on Wire,” about a 1974 tightrope walk between the World Trade Center towers, won for limited-release films with 100 percent favorable reviews.
