Blame Obama on Bush

The Spokesman-Review

According to Joan Jans (“President deserved better,” Letters, Jan. 18) we should write thank-you notes to former President George W. Bush to express our appreciation for his eight years in office.

If I could think of anything to thank him for I would do that. But honestly I can’t. But I’ll bet there are a lot of Obama worshippers out there who just might. If it wasn’t for Bush being one of the worst presidents in history, many Americans wouldn’t have lost hope and voted for a candidate they knew absolutely nothing about, but who offered up those magic words “change you can believe in.”

I think many of those people will come to regret their vote when they see what our new president truly has in mind for our country. I really hope I’m wrong.
