Colfax pulls away for victory over Valley Christian

Ryan Conrad, Caleb Bravard and Alex Teade combined for 42 points Wednesday as the visiting Colfax Bulldogs defeated the host Valley Christian Panthers 54-44 in a Bi-County League 2B boys game.

Colfax (7-5, 4-2) pulled away during the final 4 minutes.

Aaron Briggs and Gunner Kreese scored 10 points apiece for the Panthers, who dropped to 1-10, 0-6 with their seventh consecutive setback.

Lake Roosevelt 65, Okanogan 40: Cade Egbert scored 12 of his 18 points in the first half to power the visiting Raiders (5-5, 5-2) past the Bulldogs (8-5, 2-5) in the Caribou Trail League.

Ed Wolfe added 11 points and eight assists for the Raiders.

Girls

Sandpoint 36, Kellogg 33: Christina Johnson’s 3-pointer with 30 seconds left gave the visiting Bulldogs (2-12) the lead for good during their non-league win over the Wildcats (4-11). Sandpoint’s Alex Bucholtz had five steals. Kellogg led 27-21 heading into the fourth quarter.

Clark Fork 55, Mullan 22: Brocklynn Thornton and Mandy Martin combined for 26 points to lead the Wampus Cats (2-7, 2-2) past the visiting Tigers (2-12, 1-4) in the North Star League.

Okanogan 58, Lake Roosevelt 51: The host Bulldogs (7-6, 3-4) held off the Raiders (4-6, 3-4) in the Caribou Trail League. Okanogan is 5-0 at home this season.
