Dealing with detainees

The Spokesman-Review

“They are being held illegally,” as the progressives say. “Close GITMO” was the campaign promise.

For those detainees whose country refuses them back, may I suggest this? Fly them to O’Hare and process all through U.S. Customs. Ask each one: How do you wish to enter the country, as a tourist or with a work visa?

If you think this absurd, you are correct. I hope one of them chooses to move in next door to you. Otherwise it’s just another broken campaign promise.
