Outages being restored in South Spokane County

Freezing fog knocked power out in the Freeman, Vallyford area this morning. The ice caused a transmission line to a substation to break, Inland Power and Light officials said. The line has been restored. As of 11 a.m., only a handful of customers remained without power. About 30 consumers were without power in Lincoln County. Crews will continue removing ice from the power lines today in hopes of preventing additional outages.
