Weather cold, dry for weekend

Cold temperatures and clouds will dominate today with highs in the mid 20s and lows in the teens for the Inland Northwest. The air stagnation advisory will end at noon today, according to the National Weather Service. Freezing fog is expected tonight and into Saturday morning.

Predictions earlier this week for up to 2 inches of snow over the weekend have vanished. Cloudy skies and highs in the upper 20s are expected Saturday with lows near 13, according to the weather service. Sunday is expected to be colder with sunny skies and lows in the single digits.

The work week will start out sunny and cold, according to the weather service. A sight chance of snow is forecast for Tuesday.
