Geithner unfit for post

The Spokesman-Review

Timothy Geithner should not be confirmed as President Obama’s secretary of Treasury by Washington’s Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray.

Geithner is a tax cheat. His intelligence is not in question. His character is damaged in acting as if he is above the law in failing to pay his taxes on time.

He is not fit to be in charge of the nation’s economy, the IRS, the Secret Service and other major duties of the U.S. Treasury Department.
