Fog, sun and snow forecast

Patchy freezing fog has been reported throughout the Inland Northwest this morning, however, traffic has not been impacted, officials said. The haze is expected to lift no later than noon for a partly sunny day and a high of 40. Temperatures will drop into the upper 20s tonight with a 30 percent chance of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Accumulation of less than an inch is expected. Saturday and Sunday will be below freezing with highs near 30 expected both days and lows in the upper teens and low 20s. Fog will return on Monday morning, according to the weather service. Temperatures could be in the upper 30s with lows in the upper 20s. The sunshine will be making occasional appearances during the start of the week.
