This week’s tidbits

•“Finally Home,” informative classes for first-time house buyers, are being offered throughout North Idaho through the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors and Bonner Community Housing Agency. Phone 667-0664 or 255-1443.

•Yes, the bridges over the freeway are plowed and the walkways there are cleared, but the berms between the two are a slippery pain. Someone needs to connect on clearing these.

•Even Wikipedia doesn’t know where the saying “whole nine yards” originated. Closest clues come from ribald Scottish jokes.
