Senior meals

 

For the week of Feb. 2-6

Monday – Enchilada casserole with corn chips, tossed salad with dressing, chuck wagon corn, Mandarin oranges.

Tuesday – Italian style veal with ziti, vegetables, sliced beets, garlic breadstick, blushing pears.

Wednesday – Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans almandine, tropical fruit cup, breadstick, butterscotch pudding.

Thursday – Turkey ala king with peas and carrots over biscuits, spinach, baked apple slices, chocolate chip cookie.

Friday – Roast pork with gravy, whipped sweet potatoes, vegetables, potato roll, apricots.

Salad Menu (Opportunity and Hillyard locations only) Tuesday – Bayou chicken salad, garlic breadstick, blushing pears.

Mid-City Senior Center, (747-3257), 1222 W. Second Ave., Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m.

Southside Senior Activity Center, (535-0803), 3151 E. 27th Ave., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, noon.
