To her, king was a prince

Shields (The Spokesman-Review)
From Wire Reports

Brooke Shields was 13 when she first met Michael Jackson and the two “instantly became friends” – mainly because sexual tension was off the table.

She was “the most celebrated virgin ever” at a time when women “wanted to throw themselves at him and feel like they were going to teach him,” the 44-year-old actress tells Rolling Stone magazine for a special commemorative issue about Jackson, on sale Friday.

As Jackson grew up, she says, “the more asexual he became to me.” But he was curious about her early relationships.

“He was like a little kid who talked about the bases – what first base was, what second base was,” Shields says.

She says she last saw Jackson in 1991, at Elizabeth Taylor’s most recent wedding:

“We snuck in and took pictures of ourselves next to her dress. We always seemed to revert to being little kids.”

More than just rumors

Hilary Duff will guest-star on “Gossip Girl” next season as “a movie star looking for a typical college experience.”

And another CW series, “90210,” also has landed a familiar name: Rumer Willis.

The 20-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore will appear in one episode as “a punky, cute lesbian who isn’t afraid to speak her mind.”

A true die-hard

Bruce Willis plans to rebuild the burned-down lodge at a central Idaho ski resort he owns.

The ski lodge at the base of the Soldier Mountain Ski Resort, about 60 miles from Sun Valley, was destroyed in a March 30 fire that was ruled accidental.
