Sky stop Storm’s streak

SEATTLE – Candace Dupree had 28 points and rookie Kristie Toliver added a career-high 22 to lead the Chicago Sky to a 86-81 victory Sunday night over Seattle that snapped the Storm’s 15-game home winning streak.

Dupree made a 3-pointer with 1:16 left to give the Sky an 82-79 lead. The Sky (7-7) snapped a four-game losing streak. Dupree fell one point shy of tying her career high.

Lauren Jackson and Tanisha Wright each had 18 points for Seattle (8-5). Swin Cash had 14 points, and Janelle Burse added 13 for Seattle.

Seattle’s winning streak began in June 2008 and continued through the first five home games this season.

Jia Perkins scored 10 straight points for the Sky late in the fourth quarter. The game had nine lead changes and five ties in the final period.
