Three things we’ll be talking about this week

1 For millions of Harry Potter fans, Wednesday will be a very good day. That’s when “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” the sixth film in the hugely popular franchise, hits theaters. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Dumbledore himself, Michael Gambon, return.

2 Hang on to your portfolios. It should be an interesting week on Wall Street. There’s a raft of economic news coming this week, with announcements expected on housing starts, retail sales and the Consumer Price Index. Also, major corporations will begin announcing second-quarter earnings.

3 If it’s mid-July, it must be time for Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game. The best players in the league will face off Tuesday at Busch Stadium in St. Louis for the annual midsummer classic. Among them, a pair of Seattle Mariners, Ichiro Suzuki and Felix Hernandez.
