Classes and workshops

The Art Coop Classes 3-D Wooden Shapes Wall Hanging – Monday-Thursday. Mosaics: Bowling Ball, Terra Cotta Platter, Boulder – July 27-30. Classes are held at 4225 N. “G” St. Open studio format; no registration required, participants may stop by when they have time. Cost is $10 per hour, studio time plus supplies. Holy Names Music Center Summer Camps Guitar Camp – For all ages, July 27-31. Rock, jazz, fingerstyle and classical seminars by masters in each category. Students may bring either acoustic or electric guitars (small battery amplifiers only) or simply observe. Cost is $50 per session (fifth class is free after four paid sessions). The Spokane Novelists Group – Writers support/critique group, open to anyone with an interest in writing fiction. 2009 City of Spokane Arts Awards – Open call for nominations. Awards will be presented in six categories at the Spokane City Council meeting of Oct. 5.
