A man described by police as “vulnerable” walked away from his caregiver this afternoon. Jeffrey Williams, 53, was last seen at the McDonald’s at Havana Street and Sprague Avenue around noon, Spokane police said. He is 5-foot-8, 250 pounds with graying brown hair. He was wearing a white mesh cowboy hat, green T-shirt, blue jeans and carrying several tote bags when he disappeared. In a news release, police said Williams likes to hang around mass retailers such as WalMart and Fred Meyer. “Williams is considered a vulnerable adult with mental issues and has difficulty in social environments,” the release said. Anyone with information about Williams’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Check at 456-2233.
