Schweitzer hosting Bluegrass Festival

Schweitzer Mountain’s annual Bluegrass Festival returns today to the ski resort north of Sandpoint.

Bonds and Coats will open the event from 1 to 2:30 p.m., followed by Custer’s Grass Band from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and the Clumsy Lovers – who played at Schweitzer’s first bluegrass festival nine years ago – from 5 to 7 p.m.

A barbecue begins at 11 a.m., and the chairlift runs from then until 7 p.m. The music is free; there are additional charges for food and beverages.
