Suspect arrested in Twisp homicide

A 49-year-old Black Diamond, Wa., man was shot and killed Friday night at a hotel in Twisp.

The shooting occurred at about 10:40 p.m. Friday, and the man died from his injuries two hours later at Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak, police said. The suspected shooter, a 57-year-old Seattle man, was arrested and booked into the Okanogan County Jail on charges of murder in the second degree and reckless endangerment.

The incident is still under investigation, and a possible motive has not yet been determined, police said in a news release. No further details, including the names of the victim or suspect, were available Saturday night.
