Bible backs gun owners

The Spokesman-Review

There are now many in Washington, D.C., (movers and shakers) who would like to do away with the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

If the “gun haters” are ever able to overturn the Second Amendment, the criminals will still have guns. The Bible states in Ecclesiastes 8:11, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” If an evil criminal enters a private home to kill, and the owner with a gun shoots the wicked criminal dead, that is in agreement with the Bible verse.

Again, we read in the Bible in Mark 3:27, “No man can enter into a strong man’s house and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.”

If the owner or renter of the house has a gun and is ready to use it, his house and people will be protected from harm. Even the knowledge that the homeowner or renter has a gun ready will protect the people inside the house.
