Description of mother inaccurate

The Spokesman-Review

I am writing in response to your Sunday sports article titled “Still Fighting” in which Chynna Nibler claims that her mother, Stephanie Yeater, is not part of Chynna’s family and “hasn’t been in the picture for a very long time.” This is simply not true and can be easily demonstrated as such. I know Stephanie better than anyone. She is honorable and kind. Stephanie went through an ugly divorce six years ago and the children were caught in the middle. Since then, Stephanie has endured, and continues to endure, many ignominious allegations. These lies have been aired in the courts, Stephanie’s place of work, Stephanie’s social circles, Stephanie’s children’s schools and clubs, and now in The Spokesman-Review. It was irresponsible to print this falsehood without doing at least some basic research and contacting Stephanie first. Those of you who would presume to judge Stephanie for this or for any other rumors you may have heard over the years ought to first educate yourselves about Parental Alienation Syndrome. Stephanie has made mistakes, but they were tactical in nature and never because of immorality. My e-mail is hweise@ radixtechnology.net. I challenge Stephanie’s accusers and detractors to do so to me.
