40,000 marijuana plants found on tree farm
BURBANK — A southeast Washington narcotics team has seized about 40,000 marijuana plants in Walla Walla County.
The county sheriff’s office says drug team detectives found the operation worth more than $50 million at a farm about 3 miles east of Burbank.
Three people were arrested during the Wednesday bust and are being held in the county jail on $100,000 bail. Investigators are working to identify a fourth person who avoided capture.
