Pre-holiday blood drive set

The Inland Northwest Blood Center needs more than 1,300 donors in the week leading up to July Fourth.

The blood center is hosting a communitywide blood drive for Eastern Washington and North Idaho, Tuesday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., each day at the following locations: INBC headquarters, 210 W. Cataldo Ave.; Valley Hospital and Medical Center, 12606 E. Mission Ave.; North Idaho Center, 1341 Northwood Center Court, Coeur d’Alene; and Samaritan Healthcare, 801 E. Wheeler Road, Moses Lake.

Local military, police and fire officials will donate, and greet donors at the door. Prizes will be given away, as well as refreshments.
